Giandomenico Tiepolo and the 104 drawings of the Divertimento per li regazzi: a key point in the field of studies of Domenico’s draughtsmanship, the two photographic albums of art historian Antonio Morassi; a conservation treatment, financed by Save Venice in 2025, that renews its quality for research; a volume that reproduces the whole series in its oldest known sequence.

The essays introduce in detail to the materials of Morassi’s Archive and Photo Archive and his library fund. The series of the Divertimento with Pulcinella as main character, recurrent in Giambattista and Giandomenico’s works, is analysed through its critical discussion, in light of its dispersal starting from the 20s and 30s. Moreover, Antonio Morassi’s role is defined in the broad survey of studies about the Tiepolos, the ancient drawings and their collecting, and thanks to his intellectual legacy preserved at Ca’ Foscari University it is now possible to rediscover precious documents such as the two albums, whose restoration is accurately descripted.
